Brienna: She then moves her right hand a few inches away from the withers toward the right, putting her right leg firmly on the girth and her left leg behind it. Her left hand and arm softens, but her right hand remains where it is, asking Sissy to turn to the right.

Sissy: She turns obediently to the right.

Brienna: She returns to her normal position once Sissy has turned as far as she wants her to. She squeezes both legs against Sissy's side and allows her hands and arms to go forward.

Sissy: The chestnut mare obediently moves into a walk.

Brienna: She relaxes her legs, and they walk back to the barn together.
