Subject: With deepest sympathy
My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Trevor Goddard.
I was terribly upset when I read the news of Trevor's passing. Any news that affects our favorite show "JAG" is a terrible blow no matter if we loved or hated the character they played. I have to admit I did not care for Mic Brumby, but I did think Trevor was very humorous when I had the chance to see him at the FanFest last year.
I hope that everyone will remember that about him.
As I am not much of a writer, I always rely on Hallmark to do the expressing of my feelings:
"My hope for you, my friend, is that you will be gentle with yourself in this time of loss. Whatever you need to feel, I hope that you will allow it. And however long it takes to grieve, I hope that you will take it. And along the way, I hope you will remember that you have a friend who loves you. Remember that I am holding you close in my heart and keeping sight of the day when the sun will once again shine on your world."
