Chazz isn't the 6'9" center we need...but he'd be a great catch non the less. It shows we can compete with the Delaware's and UMASS's when it comes to recruiting.

In reference to the announcement of "6" new players on the men's BBall team in the news article, this most likely means - as of RIGHT now. If there will be no announcement/news this week...there's always next week! (or the next, for that matter).
Look how close football season is upon us and CCSU just added another GREAT player!
Lets hope it's a go!

I think it's safe to say that the last batch of newcomers was it, based on the fact that there wasn't anything new in any of the papers.

I think McCarter is still a go. The web page for his team still shows that he is "committed" to CCSU. That page was most recently updated only last Thursday (the 20th). My guess is that he has not officially signed in order to avoid NCAA complications. Under the circumstances, it would make sense that the University does not officially include him in any public statements.

The only thing that I can think of is maybe he did commit to CCSU but he is deciding if he is going to come here or go to prep school for a year. Maybe dont want to make the announcement if there is a chance on going to prep.
