Monmouth beats FDU on Kenny's last second layup. I knew FDU had no heart. They had the best talent in the league and home court and still couldn't seal the deal. Monmouth heads to the NCAAs for the 3rd time in 6 years while FDU will play in the NIT, for back-to-back post season apperances.

I can't belive CCSU was just 1 dumb loss away from the NIT invite. Anyway, the Hawks (RPI 143) look like they will be regulated to the PIG vs. the SWAC winner, unless there is a low-major conference upset. The PIG winner will likely face UConn or Duke in the first round.

Who knows who FDU (RPI 146) will play, but I hope they play a full 40 minutes and don't slack off in the 2nd half.

I usually like to root for NEC teams in non-confrence play, but its hard for me to watch Monmouth (or Quinnipac) take the spotlight. Hopefully FDU can win a game or 2 in the NIT.

Agreed! FDU had the best talent in the NEC this year... But no Heart. I also think that hte coaches royally screwed up by leaving the outlet pass wide open for Monmouth!!
