Here's the release from QU: <a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://quinnipiacbobcats.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/042506aaa.html">http://quinnipiacbobcats.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/spec-rel/042506aaa.html</a>

Question - If you transfer between NCAA DI schools you must sit out 1 year, right (Like Big Deli did at SHU coming from UMass)?

OK, so DeMario went to sub-DI Globe Tech for a season, fine. He sat out 1 year at the DI level and can now return to any DI team. But if you transfer between schools in the same conference, usually league rules say you must sit 2 years. So why can DeMario play for QU in 2006-07 when he only sat 1 year.

Furthermore, how does he keep his 2 years of eligibility at the NCAA DI level. He went and played at a JC for 1 year and he doesn't lose anything? I don't wish the anything bad for the kid, but shouldn't he still have to sit one more year, and then have just 1 season for QU. Now this would be a different story if he went to Hartford or Fairfield, I agree he could play this year. But at QU, this just makes no sense to me.
