St. Francis NY...tomorrow night, should be a good one. We need a big conference win on the road. Looks like Lenny is starting instead of Javier. Hearing some new recruiting new lately some JUCO from Jersey (now in Kansas) is one the radar and so is Mikko Koivisto..who is still unsigned, it would be nice to wrap up a few quality recruits for next season.

NEC play begins tonight for the Blue Devils. Th game is on TV (on MSG Network), so I can't wait to watch tonight! CCSU usually has a tough time with SFNY, especially in Brooklyn. The Terriers have 2 good wins over Fairfiled Fordham, but they did lose to Binghamton at home. Under the new head coach, they may not "run" as much as they did in the past. We've got a great shot and need to start off the NEC schedule with a win. It will be good to see the guys play, I especially interested to watch Sobers.

Also, in other NEC conference games tonight:
SHU @ SFPA - Can the upstart Pioneers win in Loretto?
FDU @ MSM - I expect the Knights to move to 2-0 in the NEC.
RMU @ QU - Bobcats look to even the NEC record at 1-1.

Good game in general, but the win is what matters most right now. Overall impression is wow, we are small!

Positives:
Great rebounding, good 2nd half defense, balanced player scoring, agressive in getting to the line, long range scoring, good FT %

Negitives:
8 blocked shots in 1st half, weak 1st half defense, too many turnovers, low FG %

I always liked Hickenbottom's game - agressive with hustle. Sobers looks good, but must cut down on the fouls to get his minutes. Justin got a sweet stroke. Obie, Javier and Tristan are solid, as usual. Lenny will get hot as the season progresses.

Finally, Middelton is timid and will take some more time to develop, but boy it was very cool to see him on the floor. If he gets a few game minutes to build some experience and confidence, he may have a great upside in the future.

It was a good game.... The MSG feed was a little choppy at times cuz I was running in full screen mode. But I was pleased with it. The strech audio was fine last night.

Don't you get MSG on TV? Its usually availabe on most cable packages and if you have DirectTv just order the "Sports Pack" for $12/month and its on (Ch. 621) along with NESN, regional Fox Sports Net, Comcast Sports Net, YES, ESPNU, CSTV, etc.

Also, all the games on CN8 will also be available on webcast, for those without Comcast cable in Boston or Philly.

Strech was good for pre-game and post game coverage.

Yes, The Pioneers can & did win in Loretto. A close one, but, they all have been. The ladies handed out a buttt whooping there, too. Could be the start of a new era on the ladies side.
