I've only followed the team over the last 13 years, so I'm sure their are tons of players in the running (just by reading a media guide) that I have never seen play or even know of, but it would be hard to argue that any player has achived more than Corsely Edwards did in his 4 seasons in New Britain - 2 NCAA apperances, NEC POY, NBA draft pick. As a player, Howie could be #2 - NCAA DII quarterfinals, 1st 1000 pt and 1000 rebound player back in just 3 years eligibility, right?

New question - who is the greatest Connecticut-born athlete ever?

So many possible answers....I'll go with Steve Young (Bobby Valentine a close second).

Will Pavano regret his decision to go to NY?
