Who knows how accurate these are. These could be guys that we were interested in before signing Robinson and Winters. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. I don't think any guards would leave our program because the two guys we signed are basically forwards (reports hinted that Winters could play some SG), and they all got a ton of playing time. The only guy I could possibly see leaving would be Brooks, which I wouldn't mind in the least.

This site says we made an offer to a SF, so who knows.

I don't think we'd lose anybody, but I'd still love to bring in a Freshman SG, because Chiera and Jefferson will be Seniors next year. And there might be a chance to steal a great recruit from in state. Craig Austire a 6-1 SG from Trinity Catholic (Stamford, CT) made a verbal commitment to UMass, but he may be available now that Lappas is gone. Providence, URI, and Fordham are interested, so he sound like a reach. But here's is a great quote following his team's OT win in the state semifinals and in refrence to the state championship:

"This is the best birthday present ever: I get to go back to Central Connecticut."

He might of just said,
"This is the best birthday present ever: I get to go back to Central Connecticut." because CCSU hosts the state tournament games. I also don't think we have another scholarship available for next year.

You're right, but it looked good :) It does sound like Austire might head to PC instead of UMass though.
