CCSU is way too big a school to not have a sports fans' based message board to lay dorment....

J J made a good point on how CCSU wants to model their program after the likes of S. Illinois & W. Kentucky in terms of basketball and football... I feel you guys can get there sooner rather than later... Somebody in your AD dept needs to get on the ball and start marketing your programs the way they should be... You guys should, at the very least, have a football stadium similar to UCONN's Memorial Stadium, as well as a all everything sports complex that seets 7,500 for hoop games and contain athletic offices... too bad you guys weren't closer to Bridgeport. Harbor Yard would be a nice Arena for your basketball teams... Fairfield Univ plays a lot of their games there... IMO, that school is too small to have that priviledge... You'd be lucky to fill a quarter of that arena up for their games.. Talk about an underutilized facility for basketball games...

Then someone needs to tell the higher ups (not in the Ath. Dept.) to allow the marketing/promotions position, that has been vacant for over 2 years, to be filled!
