I think a 'BAD' loss is a bit strong for the last 2 games. The FIU game was a Heartbreaker because Central scrapped back in the last 3 minutes to take a lead only to have a rainbow 3 take away the W. The game before, Samfords princeton offense just wore central down. Thats all...

The game that I dont want to happen is the Uconn game in a few weeks. I think Central is going to get smacked around and lose by alot and they dont deserve that. The UCONN insde game will kill the smaller CCSU team. I just hope that central scores 50 points for the game.

(I just dont understand that if you want a payday game (like UCONN) you should go out of state.)
This state is too small that Centrals reputation always gets slashed. And the game will be on Channel 61 for the whole state to see.

If you think the UConn/CCSU series is too one-sided, check this out: Pitt is now 28-0 vs. SFPA and has outscored the Red Flash by an average of 22 points over the last 4 seasons. Pitt is also 61-0 vs. the NEC, including an NCAA tourney win over CCSU in 2002.

Larry I hate to disagree, but I think that UConn is a game CCSU has to play every year (if given the chance). I think the $ and exposure is too much to ever pass up. Of course I agree that we need to play respectable, but it can be done - look at Yale's 1st half vs. UConn last year @ Gample. Although our odds of winning this year are slim, (to say the least), I expect the team to be well prepared. I'm pretty sure the 70 point loss to UConn under Mark Adams in 1995-96 was the primary reason for his pink slip from C.J.
