I thought so. I know CCSU doesn't have the $ to keep up with other schools, I just don't know who we are going to play in 5 years. By then I expect teams like UA, SBU, and Duq to "step up" to the A-10/Patroit. St. Peter's, SFPA, LaSalle and Iona drop football. So what's left for mid-majors: CCSU, SHU, RMU, Mon, Wag, and Marist plus the Pioneer schools. It just seems like the NCAA needs to do something, but I don't know what.

Here is an article that says 1-aa (mid major) is going to be more competitative with less teams. An interesting thought. Also, it says LaSalle is serious about football.
