Subject: Arethusa (F38)

During my Royal Naval Career I served on this ship, in 1972 my three children were christened onboard her at Portsmouth dockyard. All to soon I was drafted and unable to confirm if the childrens names were ever recorded on the bell. What I am trying to find out is where the bell is at the present moment and if the names of my children were recorded on the bell. As you may be aware Arethusa was sunk as a target ship in 1991. I have tried to trace the bell via the trophies department in the Royal Naval Base at Portsmouth. Their search was a blank. If anyone of the Association is aware of the whereabouts of the bell it would be much appreciated if they could contact me as I wish to take a photograph of their names on the bell should be recorded.
their names are Nardine, Venetia and Sala Fitt.
Redards.
