Hot, Hot, Hot Brown Trout Fishing

This week we have good news and more good news!! The past
three days
have given us West and Northwesterly winds which made for
some phenomenal nearshore brown trout fishing. Turbid
nearshore water produced hot brown trout fishing
throughout the day. Capt. Ernie dealt with 3to 5 foot
waves and our seasoned crews of Fish Doctor anglers were
rewarded with three straight days of double digit brown
catches with a couple of rainbows and an incredible 16lb.
Skamania steelhead. All the action was on ultralight gear
in 10-20 feet of water.

We are looking forward to a great weekend of fishing with
winds from
the southeast and south which will give us calm waters
nearshore. This
wind shouldn't push our warm water out for a few days so
this weekend is
not a good weekend to be a brown trout with the Alaskan
and the Fish Doctor out there prowling around.

We haven't had a chance to look offshore for the kings
yet this week
but with the brown fishing being so good we should have
ample time after
the morning flurry to go out and get an idea where those
kings are. The
same winds that have returned our warm water and bait
nearshore should
have brought those kings that we had so much fun with
just 14 days ago.

Don't despair we still have dates open for you to get in
on this
incredible spring rolling right into summer fishing.
With inshore water temps still in the high 40šs and low
50šs June will be excellent for browns and steelhead.
Hope to see you out on the water .

Capt. Randy
