I'm hoping to get a honest opinion. I will be traveling from Maine in two weeks and want to know what to expect as far as the fishing?!!!So far the reports I've seen their have been no "major" runs so far. Can I hope to get into some fish? I'm pretty knowledgable of the river and surrounding streams. But am bringing two newbees with me and hope to get them in some fish. One more question and Randy Jones can probably answer best. Has anyone fly fishing tried to fish more traditionally with no split shot and using sink tips or sinking lines. I got some SA saltwater sink tip for stripers and it sinks like a rocket I think like 7 inches or more a second (425 grain) will this maybe work? Just wondering. Thanks for any info and tight lines to all. Mark
