Whatever dude. All I can say is this past Thursday, I was fishing the upper hole on the lower fly zone. I was using a gold flashabou streamer and stripping it back through the slow eddy. I could see about 8 kings laying in there. The first cast one chased it all the way back to me, then spooked. The next cast I watched a 15 lb female swim up of the bottom to about one foot below the surface, and BITE my streamer. My brother also caught one there last year stripping a black bugger with no weight, also watching it BITE. This was not lined, we watched them BITE it. In PA I've caughten many cohos, all that I watched eat the fly in our gin clear waters. Several have been caught fishing dry. They will bite, but unfortunately they get snagged too many times by people like you before they get a chance too. I'm not saying that they going on feeding frenzies, but they will bite. One day I will get it on video, and you will find it in every bait shop in snaglaski,NY. I only wished I lived closer and I'd offer to meet with you and show you that they do bite.
