first there was rain, heavy and horizontal at times, then came the hurricane force winds which buffeted our floats and caused them to travel upstream at times, then there was a distinct lack of lake ontario gold and pumpkin, the object of our desires. Happily, after some nine hours on the H20 we managed to catch one trophy brown per sport having what we considered a stellar day, all conditions considered. Smallest brown weighed in at eight pounds and the largest caught by 11-year-old johnny from Philly, PA. was a 15.60# lb Alligator-jawed Monster brown trout who is on his way to Fish Fabrications Taxidermy to be Preserved for posterity. The other two were 13# and 14# lbs each. Despite the poor conditions, everybody eventually caught a fish. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! Stay tuned, Trout Ticklers. walleyed Out!
