Big Daddy, I know what is going on up there and agree that the pacific salmon need to go, but how will we ever get rid of them. The charter captins will never go for such an idea. We would probably have to keep the coho around, but I would like to see the kings go. With the current fishing situation on the river the kings don't offer anyone a sporting chance, dogding J-plugs and hooks. They get too wigged out after they have been jabbed at a few times. Very few actually bite on the way up the river. With the big kings gone alot of the snagging would stop

The DEC can't do it all, the fishermen are going to have to police the river as well.
