After returning to his vehicle after the evening deer hunt with his friend George on tuesday November 20th,2001, Ridgeway Hoagland VanMiddlesworth Alias AKA "VAN" collasped and died of an apparent heart attack in
Jefferson county town of Ellisburg. A long Time Salmon River Guide originally from Neshanic Station, N.J. Van was a genuine, colorful, Salmon River Entertainer who first coined the phrase "It was LOADED". He was always where the fishing action was and was an expert deer hunter as well. The Eastern Lake Ontario fishery will be a lesser place without him. He will be missed. Happy Trails Van...And Full Coolers.....Walleyed Out!
