SHAD HOTLINE REPORT
4/7/01

FRED LEWIS MADE 2 HAULS LAST NIGHT. ONE SHAD IN THE FIRST
HAUL AND A BIG ROCK
HOLE IN THE SECOND HAUL. NET REPAIR BY FRED'S GRANDSON
WAS ON GOING THIS
MORNING.

THE WATER TEMPERATURE IN LAMBERTVILLE WAS 46 DEGREES.
WATER LEVELS ARE RISING
SLOWLY BUT CLARITY IS STILL QUITE GOOD.THERE WERE 6 BOATS
OUT AT 1:00 PM. IN
LESS THAN 5 MINUTES 2 SHAD WERE CAUGHT WITH 8-10 REPORTED
CAUGHT EARLIER.

THE TRENTON POWER PLANT WAS QUITE ACTIVE. WATER
TEMPERATURE WAS 53.4 IN THE
COVE WITH A RISING TIDE. SHAD, GIZZARD SHAD, HERRING AND
STRIPERS WERE BEING
CAUGHT.

THE STRIPER WAS CAUGHT ON CUT BAIT ON A BAIT HOOK ALL THE
WAY ITS GUT.
