Hi All, After a fabulous fishing trip in February in poor conditions, I decided to go again with "Catch the Drift" Charters and Capt. Kevin Davis. This time with great spring weather, but with cold high water conditions after a discussion with Cpt Davis we decided that the Salmon River and Oswego River were not producing. So Cpt Davis suggested that maybe we should go around a western power plant. And boy was he right!!! I went a fantastic 28 for 35 on Rainbow Trout up to 13lbs, Brown Trout to 10lbs, and 2 Steelhead of 8lbs. On the way back to Oswego, Cpt Davis pointed out some of the smaller creeks to me that I could try sometimes and even took me to one of them (Maxwell Creek). And bank guided me for a while where I went 2 for 4 on Steelhead a 10lber and a 12lb chromer. I thought February's trip was fun, but this one was fantastic!! My thanks to Catch the Drift charters and Capt. Kevin Davis. I have many fine pictures of the fish that I caught and released. I can hardly wait to go again this fall. Tight Lines to Everyone!!!!!
