ALL THIS RAIN WILL NOT HELP THE FISHING A BIT AND CAN LEAD TO
SOME VERY
DANGEROUS SITUATIONS.

ALBERT HOUGH, 32, DIED SATURDAY AFTER HIS BOAT FILLED AND
THEN CAPSIZED IN
THE DELAWARE BELOW THE YARDLEY RAMP. THE BOAT WAS
LEAKING, NO ONE PUT ON A
LIFE JACKET AND ALL THREE WERE WEARING WADERS. A CERTAIN
RECIPE FOR DISASTER.

PAPPY WILL BE ADDRESSING COLD WATER BOATER SAFETY AT THE
APRIL 18 SHAD
ASSOCIATION MEETING.

FRED LEWIS DID NOT CATCH ANY SHAD LAST NIGHT IN HIS NETS.
WITH THE
DETERIORATING CONDITIONS FRED WILL NOT ATTEMPT NETTING
UNTIL THE RIVER
SETTLES DOWN.

RUSS ALLEN NETTED 99 SHAD YESTERDAY IN DELAWARE BAY RUSS
REPORTS THEY ARE
VERY LARGE AND HEALTHY THIS YEAR. THE WATER TEMP WENT
FROM 52 TO 57 AND BACK
TO 52 DEGREES ALL IN THE SAME DAY.

RADIO TAGGING OF SHAD IS ON GOING IN THE TRENTON AREA.

THE HYDRA PHONES ARE UP AND RUNNING ON THE RT# 202 BRIDGE
IN LAMBERTVILLE.

DON'T FORGET TO COME TO THE SHAD ASSOCIATION MEETING APRIL
18 AT THE SE-WY-CO
FIREHOUSE ON RT#378 IN SOUTH BETHLEHEM. MEETING TIME 7:30
PM. BRING QUESTIONS
