WELL AFTER 2 FULL DAYS OF RAIN THE RIVER SHOULD BE A BIT
DIFFICULT TO FISH ON
GOOD FRIDAY.

WHEREVER YOU FISH REMEMBER SAFETY FIRST.

IF THE RIVER IS STILL UP AND DIRTY, MOVE CLOSER TO SHORE
WHERE THE CURRENT
AND DIRT WILL LEAST AFFECT YOUR PRESENTATION. CHECK YOUR
LURES FOR DIRT ON A
REGULAR BASIS. SOME GOOD PLACES TO TRY ARE THE LEE OF AN
ISLAND OR THE INSIDE
OF A BEND.
IN HEAVY CURRENT INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF ANCHOR LINE YOU
LEAVE OUT. 150 FOOT
OF LINE IN 10' OF WATER IS NOT TOO MUCH.

A SHORT COURSE ON SAFE RIVER ANCHORING WILL BE PART OF THE
PROGRAM AT THE
APRIL 18 SHAD ASSOCIATION MEETING.

TUESDAY SHAD WERE REPORTED AS FAR NORTH AS EASTON
WHERE 17 WERE REPORTED
CAUGHT. BULLS ISLAND AND THE POINT PLEASANT PUMP ALSO
REPORTED NICE CATCHES
OF A DOZEN PLUS.

IF THE WEATHER STAYS NICE THIS COMING WEEK SHOULD SEE THE
RUN TAKE OFF
NICELY, SO GO FISH.
