We plugfished from Altmar to Route 2A today and caught two nice steelhead. First one was a FIRE ENGINE RED boar Skamania 35" inches long with a Hunchback deformity with his left pectoral (LP), Adipose (AD) clip combination who weighed about 11 1/2 lbs. He Attached himself to a orange/gold #35 hotshot in the upper schoolhouse pool. Our second Steelie was a fifteen (#15) lb henfish from the pineville bridge pool. We saw fish in numbers in the lower trestle, ellis cove, Bullvines, (NOT BOVINES) and the snagging pool. The past week we have been fishing other smaller tributaries where we have been doing extermely well on rainbows and steelhead on HOT PINK TONY GUGINO EGG SACKS AVAILABLE ONLY AT TONY'S SALMON COUNTRY SPORTS. Our Biggest fish last two weeks was a 19 lb, 9.6 oz. 38"inch, 23" girth boar steelhead as well as numerous 11 to 14 lb steelies all on eggs mentioned above under floats. The fish in the river seems to be exceptionally large this year and very nasty fighters. Good Fishing. walleyed p.s. we haven't seen the concrete jungle in OZwego, yet. thank god!
