It was a typical saturday today with weekend anglers all over the steelhead areas of Eastern Lake Ontario. Today there were many GOONS, not anglers, but GOONS wading thru the middle of the pools and runs trying to see into silt stained waters so they could play POKEMON!!! Luckily, the mucky waters were not suitable for the whippers to easily see and snag our valueable steelhead. It amazes me that people snag trout when they can often be so ridiculously easy to legitimately catch them. My sports were from Hazleton, PA and managed to hook up with six trout and we got two on the bank. Both were chrome units with one sow weighing #12.30 lbs and a scrappy nipper boar weighing #6.20 lbs. All our bites came on the always dependable HOT PINK SPECIAL RECIPE TONY GUGINO EGG BAGS available only at TONY'S SALMON COUNTRY SPORTS in PULASKI. Five of the bites were using floats and one straight line bottom bouncing. Good fishing. WALLEYED OUT!!!
