I saw the special on Fox 61 and the only complaints I had were that they didn't give him any name credit and Helena Bonham Carter's bad makeup! I thought the movie looked good. While Mark Wahlberg is no...well, David Warner...I don't think he's gawd-awful either. He was very articulate in his interviews and that impressed me. I've seen him in other roles and he held his own. POTA won't be Shakespeare, but it's not meant to be. It's meant to be a blockbuster like Terminator and other mindless fare like that. (no offense) I think I sense the reasoning behind Mr. Warner's interest in being in this film and it's not for the accolades it will earn him, obviously. It's to be recognized by Hollywood. He is still a virtual unknown in those parts.

I agree with you SP. Just as with 'Titanic', 'POTA' will give him good exposure in Hollywood even though his is a supporting role. I'm looking forward to watching his
scene(s) opposite the always interesting Tim Roth who looks amazing in the film.
