Watch how he interacts with the boy after capturing him from his father (Caine's character). Waxwork is one move, with the big "butler" - just a hand on the guy's shoulder. It made me suddenly think of the place as a "boy's town" for wayward ghouls!

I'm shocked! Watch the bank scene in TAT that begins with him saying, "Hello again."

Maybe not on screen, Jen, but I distinctly recall him grinning, albeit fleetingly, at us on his birthday.
