Hi, Rachel,

Nice to meet you. What a nice note he sent you! Thanks for sharing it.

I guess he's getting caught up on his fan mail now that the play is over! (It's a relief to know for sure that he's all right.) After seeing the play, I too had written him a gushy letter (hope it wasn't *too* gushy), and sent him a photo to autograph. I just received it in the mail the other day too.

I do feel very lucky not only to have seen him on the stage, but to have met him in person. It was like a dream come true. He's even more gracious and charming than I had imagined. But, as a professional actress, maybe you'll do even better than that someday and actually get to work with him! I sure hope you do! Best of luck to you. (I wanted to be an actress too when I was a kid but couldn't get past the stage fright.)

Keep in touch!

>Hi, Rachel, and welcome!

Thanks for sharing your wonderful note from DW with us and, as Susan says, it's such a relief to know that he's all right. I was lucky enough to see him in 'Major Barbara' and meet him twice. He's such a nice person and a true gentleman.
