(Maybe cuz he doesn't seem old enough yet? :-)) We studied the play in a Shakespeare course I took last year. Lear is supposed to be an incredibly difficult role. Some Shakespeare scholars argue that it's "unactable"! But if anybody can do it, David Warner can. I bet he's going to be awesome. I take it you're trapped on this side of the pond too, Agatha. I DO like the poster. The picture is very small, I can't tell if he has a beard or not. For some reason, Lear always seems to have a beard.
