Yes Why'd you become a hunter? It was beneficial to him at the time Favorite Form of Execution: While he does enjoy using weapons, especially swords and firearms, he have to say that if he has to get his hands dirty at all he would prefer a more hands on method. he much rather kill someone with his own bare hands (or paws/mouth, as he more likely to use the animal form) then to resort to weapons, he says it just so much more personal that way. Day Job: None ,well as of yet, he is college student. Though he views himself as a 'Assassin'. As far as he is concerned he does NOT work for the hunters, and instead just a hired hand. He will not go out on a case with out the promise of money. Eyes color: Dark brown Hair color: Dark brown Skin color: Olive Tattoo's: None Peircing's: None Scars: He has plenty of scaring, most from his training as a fighter/executer/hunter, whatever one wants to call it. The most noticeable of his scars though is a scar that runs down his right arm, cutting form about the shoulder to the crook of his elbow, another one down his left cheek, though it has faded over time to the point it is harder to see now. He also has another light scar on his forehead, often hidden by hair. The most obvious of his scaring is the one that marks down his back, this one scars from his right shoulder down to his left hip. Distinguishing features: He has two sets of ‘fangs’ upper and lower canines, similar to that of a large cat or dog, they aren’t overly noticeable unless he really wants you to see them. He has very cold feel about him too, his face gives away no emotion. Face Claim: Ben Barnes General Appearance: At a first glance Karol can come across as a rather intimidating individual. Tall and built like a brick wall he not someone that most people really want to make angry. Standing at about a hundred and ninety six centimeters (about six foot five inches), he is rather impressive and he usually ends up towering over most of those around him. Though often described as being a bit on the thin side, he is anything but weak. Weighing in about one hundred and four kilograms (about two hundred and twenty nine pounds) of pure muscle he does have a solid build. He has a good deal of muscle though this muscle does not come in the form of bulk. He has no interest in actually bulking up, as in his opinion this does nothing for you. Instead he has more interest in lean muscle. He is a quick and nimble fighter, using the lack of bulk for his advantage. Added on top of that the animal reflexes, instincts, and years and years of training he is a formable opponent in battle. Though he can use a weapon he isn’t the type that tend to rely heavily on them. He instead is of more a hands on fighter, the downfall to this method is that it does mean having to get up close and personal with your opponent which can be dangerous for you, especially if your opponent has a weapon. Still, despite this, he still relies heavily on his training, depending more on controlled power, no matter the type of fight he is in. He has perfect control of his body and every one of his movements. Every move he makes tends to have a purpose without wasting any more energy then needed. His hair is naturally dark brown that is almost black. In the winter, or during the times where he didn’t get out in the sun much his hair can darken to the point that it appears to be a true black. During summer, due to the sunlight bleaching it, his hair can lighten to the point that it is a true, though still dark brown. He does tend to keep his hair relatively short, not wanting to have to bother with the nuisance of it in his eyes and in his way. Most of the time though he is just too lazy or to busy to stop and cut it, causing to grow much longer then he would ever be comfortable with. At the moment it just long enough to fall into his eyes, which to him signals the need for a trim, though he has yet to really find the time to stop and do it. His eyes are one of the stranger traits of his. While most of the time though his eyes appear to be completely normal, with nothing really out of the ordinary about them. His eyes are naturally a deep dark brown that border on being black, and when he is upset, agitated, tired, or even just in dark lighting, they will darken in appearance at least, to the point that they will actually look to be black. When angry or right before a shift though his eyes will bleed to a very light blue of the tiger, the change is a rather drastic one and is rather noticeable by those around him, which then proceeds to freak most people out. Maybe the best way to describe Karol though it to say that he is very ‘flat’ a majority of the time. More often then not he appears ‘empty’ of any real emotion. He tends to come across to most people as uncaring and cold. He has the ability to completely drain his face and eyes of any form of emotion, this is probably one of the strangest and scariest ability he has as he is able to go from laughing to completely blank in a matter of seconds. In a way he has an almost animal like appearance to him and e is often accused of watching people as if he saw them as prey. This does make people uneasy, especially since he is so hard to read. His eyes rarely give anything away, he is more often described as having the eyes of a killer. Someone that would not lose sleep over killing you. He unlike many of the other experiments has retained some of the traits of the animal shoes DNA is combined with his. The most noticeable of these would be the eyes, though they are only cat-like when angry or about to shift (or he is purposely messing with someone). Maybe though, the oddest thing about him, isn’t his eyes but instead the fact that he has two sets of sharp fangs. The fangs have been described by some, in a not so nice matter, as ‘doggy fangs’ as they resemble the fangs of a predatory animal, such as a dog. The fangs though aren’t overly huge in human form and probably harder to notice unless one is really looking. They are probably most noticeable when he smiles, or when he again is purposely trying to freak people out. He has his father’s darker complexion that borders between being naturally tanned and an olive skin tone. This has ended up making his scars stand out, as they ended up being more pearly white marks. He does have a good deal of scaring, though many are small and over looked, the most noticeable of his scars is one that marks his right arm, from his shoulder to the crook of his elbow, from a mishap in a fight when in tiger form, another one marks his left cheek, and forehead from a fight with a sword, and another down the length of his back form a mishap with a sword. His dark complexion mixed with his dark hair and eyes leaves him with a naturally dark appearance, which is probably why most are surprised upon seeing his animal form. In his animal form is a large white Bengal tiger. He is a massive cat, slightly on the large side for the species with a good deal of muscle. In this form his coat is snowy white with the bold black stripes of the breed. Karol is the master of disguising himself and playing ‘normal’ or friendly. Normally when on the job (hunt) he will take on another identity of a made up ‘character’ as to avoid detection of who he truly working for. This is often how he ends up getting close to people due to the fact that he is good at it. When in a role everything about him changes down to his mannerisms, and he is able to keep up the role with ease. This makes it hard to actually track him and keep tabs on him, something he depends on. Likes: Weapons mainly swords and firearms, one might say he has a downright fascination with them. Despite his fascination with the things and the fact that he is very well trained in the art of using them, it not likely that he be caught using one in a fight. Still even though he doesn’t use them in battle, he is always armed with at least a blade and gun, and most likely a sword. He also has a fascination with crows bows and bows and arrows though he not likely to be seen carrying one of those around. Draw to much attention to you. Drinking/partying: He does have a normal side to him, he does enjoy going out with other his age and having a good time. He is not one to get drunk though. he is a smart drinker and knows his own limits and is not likely to go beyond that limit. While he does enjoy having a good time he not a fan of spending to much time in loud clubs, they just tend to overwhelm his senses which are more sensitive then a normal humans. The ladies: He …is a bit of a pig, which is probably putting it nicely. He does enjoy the females and can be quite the flirt with them. He more into one night swings though then any form of commitment. As far as he is concerned he is far to young to let himself get tied down yet. He has no interest in a long-term relationship though he doesn’t seem to care if he leads the girl on to think otherwise. reading: yeah maybe something that is hard to believe about him, but he does like to read and does so quite often. He prefers older literature (classics though most of his taste is older then that). He has read many of the ancient Greek literature (in its original language), he doesn’t normally keep up with more recent works though. expensive things: call him shallow, call him superficial, he doesn’t care. He likes expensive and flashy things that show off that he has money and a lot of it at that. He likes to spoil himself while he has no interest in spending money on ‘charity’ or anything of the sort. music: again maybe something that is hard to believe about him but he is a music fan. His taste in music is rather wide too, he can enjoy bits of everything, though he is not into rap. He does have a like for classical music though. He also can play the piano though this is not something people know about him and he not about to let them know about. Dislikes: Overall Karol is rather indifferent; he doesn’t ‘care’ enough to dislike much of anything. While he does find things to be more of a nuisance then anything he rarely ‘dislikes’ them as he more likely to feel as if ‘they don’t matter’ and waste no more time on it. Annoying People: Maybe ‘people’ is more accurate way of wording it, his definition of ‘annoying’ rarely matches anyone else’s definition. He doesn’t like people who come across as overly pushy or in your face. People who challenge him are more likely to be met with rather hostile consequences. his family: in truth it more of an indifference, don’t’ get him wrong under it all he does care for his sister and mother. He actually cares for them a lot, he just doesn’t care to put up with them and their passiveness. He can not stand his father, he never did like the man. The two always clashed and just didn’t get alone. taking orders: If you want to remain on his ‘good side’ which is usually a good idea, do not make the mistake of telling him what to do or how to do something. he does not take orders, if he does do something someone asks him to do it only because he wanted to and not because of the other person. Weaknesses: Stubborn: he is stubborn to a fault, refusing or maybe more like not knowing how to admit that he is wrong in a situation. He will go out of his way to not have to admit that anyone else was right. It is also very hard for him to admit when he might need help and it very rare for him to finally break down and ask someone for any kind of assistance. He also will not admit he lost and will not back down, this though has proved more beneficial to him as it has ended with him pulling through despite all odds. It also likely to be what kills him one day. prideful; or maybe more like arrogant, he often comes across as if he is full of himself. He thinks highly of himself and he is not afraid to let anyone else know that he thinks they should too. He knows he is good at what he does and he will not let those he works for forget it. That said he isn’t overly boastful either, he not loud about it. He just tends to have a quiet smugness about him. this though at times can often lead to him over estimating his ability in a fight and could end up with him dead one day when he gets in over his head. untrustworthy: unless you are one of the rare people that he truly calls a friend or he is working for you (and there is money involved, enough money that you can be sure that someone won’t offer him a better price) don’t make the mistake to trust him. he is far from trustworthy individual. Lying comes easy to him as does breaking promises. He is a bit of a pathological liar though he not the type to lie just for the sake of lying. Instead he just more likely to protect his own ass any way he knows how. He doesn’t care who gets hurt (unless it’s the few he cares for) in the process of protecting himself. selfish: Selfish, self-centered, and egocentric, these are all words that can be used to describe Karol. As far as Kar is concerned Kar is the centered of his universe, and everything revolves around him. he has no interest in the current fight between the experiments and the ‘hunters’ that he is actually a part of. In truth he can easily switch sides if one offered him enough pay. Kar’s first priority is himself and anyone be damned (again unless you are one of the select few) if you get in his way. antisocial: maybe better known as a sociopath. While he can function in groups and get along with others when he wants to and when it comes to living his everyday life, with school and such he does seem to blend decently well, he does have many antisocial behaviors. He lacks any real empathy with people and he quick to make decisions that are likely to end up hurting someone, so long as it benefits him. again going along with the selfishness of his, he does not care who he hurts (again except for a very rare few) so long as he comes out benefiting in the end. Strengths: Fighting: what he lacks in social skill she makes up for in fighting ability. While he might not be the most social or nice person, he will argue that he has no need to be. He was raised to be a weapon and that is what he is. Weapons don’t need to feel. His lack of any real emotion (or so it comes across) does make battle easy for him as he has no care in who he hurts. He is a good weapon and fighter and is often called in to be just that when they need him. his increased strength do to the experiments on him only have proved to help him more in this area. stronger senses: he due to the experimentations done on him he has gained not only the tiger’s keep sense but reflexes as well in human form. He is quick on his feet and able to pick up things no human would be able too. He does use this in his tracking as he is able to pick up the scent of the other experiments easily. This is one of the reasons he is often hired by the hunters to aid them. Smart: he is an extremely intelligent individual with the ability to think quickly on his feet in any given situation. He is level headed not easily panicked and can think in the most chaotic situation. He has a quick mind with a strong memory that is able to remember just about everything he has come across. He has an enjoyment for languages and a strength for them as well and due to this and his education can speak many different ones. amazing actor: Karol is an amazing actor a skill that he often puts to use when ‘on the job’. When he is working he will usually take on another (usually made up) identity. When playing a role he plays it perfectly, everything down to his mannerisms change to fit the type of personality he wants that person to have. Usually he will only use a name once, and for a short period of time, usually only for as long as the job lasts this helps prevent him from being tracked. There has been a few times where he has kept it up longer and he has no problem keeping up an act for however long it benefits him. loyal: maybe this isn’t the first trait one thinks of when they think of him, not that he would totally blame anyone. He doesn’t come across as the most loyal type. But this is more because he rarely ‘promises’ loyalty to anyone. To the few he does let close to him and he truly calls a friend he is deathly loyal. The real problem comes up with people assuming that he calls them a friend when he really does not. He is not likely to promise his loyalty to anyone, though once he does this is one promise he will not break. Ambitions: Well one might argue that he is ambitious he tends to be more so in small things, such as his current tasks (and doing that well) rather then big things at this point. school? yeah, as odd as it sounds that is probably his main ambition, he doesn’t care about the feud between the hunters and projects, that doesn’t matter to him. what does matter to him is his own education to a degree. He not a fan of school (it bores him) but he does plan on finishing his education and doing something with his life. Though at this point he still not sure what he wants to do. Personality: Maybe one of the only things that is ‘stranger’ then his appearance (with his catlike fangs) is his personality, strange and quirky doesn’t even begin to describe him. Maybe the only real way to describe Karol is to be upfront and honest, and to admit that he is a bit of a…okay he is very much an ass. Arrogant and self-centered he has no interest in others and does not care to play ‘nice’. He has no interest in formalities and not the type that likely to censor himself simply to prevent someone else’s feelings from getting hurt. He has a sick sense of humor (and has been called a sick fuck in the past due to it).He has a thing for head games and he likes to play with his ‘prey’ before going into for the kill. He loves a game of ‘cat and mouse’ for lack of a better way of describing it and seems to get some joy out of making his victim beg before finally finishing them off. One might argue that he is a bit on the insane side ‘not quite right in the head’ but if that the case he never really been ‘right’. He is an very bright individual with an above average intelligence. While he is strong he is a case of being more brain then brawn though he does make this work for him. While he is extremely book smart, with a love of reading and languages, he rarely lets this show. While he is smart he is a bit unique in the way he functions, he doesn’t think the way most people do. He ahs a very methodical way to his thinking, and he tends to thinks things through usually step by step, making sure that he has everything covered before he ever does anything, rather then rushing into it. He has a very logical way of thinking too and can easily think his way out of most situations. He doesn’t always present himself tough in the brightest light and at times he can be hard for people to grasp and understand and this has at times got him labeled slow by people. He also seems to at times have a hard time grasping what other people are trying to say, though this is more to do with his lack of understanding of the emotion behind the point they are trying to get across. Though this at times is hard to really pick up on since he never seems to be interested in anything anyone has to say anyway. He is a cold individual though not quite withdrawn in the way people would think of it. He is a bit of a loner at times he is anything but shy. In truth he just tends to prefer the solitary lifestyle then actually bothering to bond with anyone. This is probably how he got into his life as a hunter (he would argue he is an assassin),the constant changing of identity does make it hard to form relationships as most people don’t even know who you truly are. Or worse, you aren’t sure which identity they met. The few relationships he does end up in are rarely anything serious. While he does have a few childhood friends, they don’t really know all that much about him. He has trouble letting people get close to him and often ends up shoving them away rather then taking a chance and trusting someone. He also not very interested at this point in any long-term romantic relationship. He argues that he is way to young to let himself get tied down, plus what good are such things anyway? That said he does enjoy ‘the ladies’ as already stated, and often finds himself in their bed simply as a means of proving he can or for the fun. He not one to lie about his involvement with them either, though he not exactly upfront either about what he is looking for. He doesn’t like people and he has seems to have developed an even stronger dislike for other experiments, though why is unclear, he will claim it do to the fact that this whole ‘battle’ is their fault anyway and that they deserve what coming to them. at the same time he often claims that they aren’t really worth his time, this is probably closer to this real feelings. He would have nothing to do with any of it, if there wasn’t cash involved. He has no problem using and abusing someone if he feels that it will get him something he wants or needs. Cruel and somewhat harsh he isn’t the type of person most people want to deal with a majority of the time. he is a bit rude and has a bit of a sharp tongue though he tends to be coy about it. Unless you are used to him one often overlooks most of what he says as simply insane chatter, this includes his threats. He avoids any form of real attachment and will often pull/run away from anyone he feels he is getting to close to. This can be anything from friends to more intimate relationships. To him such things are viewed as a sort of weakness as they can be held against him easily. The few relationships he does manage to gain are usually strange… and a bit quirky. With the few people he does let in past his walls are usually people who have no problem putting up with him and his odd behavior without taking it the wrong way. These are people that probably either understand his sense of humor or aren’t fazed by it. either way in his mind these few are priceless and he would do anything to protect them. they aren’t easy to find though and most either respond in one of two ways either by completely freaking our or by getting aggressive (which probably either has to do with him pissing them off or scaring them into a defensive mode) both of these reactions often just end up aggravating him and further proving to him that people aren’t worth his time. He has a stubborn independent streak and isn’t the type that will work under anyone. He doesn’t take well to being ordered around and is likely to meet any such behavior somewhat violently. He gives his respect and loyalty to a select few. He is mainly only loyal to himself or cash (or whatever the form of payment is). Money speaks loudly for him and if one wants him to do as they ask it best to offer a very large price that won’t be over-bid. He has no problem turning on a client if someone else offers him more money to do so. He is rather clam individual and it takes a lot to push him to anger, but once one does he has a rather violent temper and he doesn’t think twice about putting someone in their place. He is though when he wants to be good at playing ‘human’ or normal, which is what he does quiet often. He can slip into almost any form of ‘character’ he feels necessary. Though some roles can require more conscious effort then the other when he is in ‘character’ it hard to make him ‘step out’ of it unless he wants too. He’s good at reading people and is usually able to figure out how to go about getting what he wants. To those who don’t really know him he can come across as almost charming.
