I just want to react on all the bad words and allegations thrown on GMA 7, I am not an avid fan of such, nor ABS CBN. What I have just noticed on this debate or forum? ABS CBNs follower were so defensive, while GMAs follower mostly were not, they don’t even throw foul words on the rival network. Just when I thought, the way you react shows the one you are supporting, it means that these ABSCBN followers were just like what or definitely like the networks attitude.

It was said that GMA 7 is claiming that they’re the no.1 nowadays, but hey! They never said they’re no.1, just to clear things, it was just said that they are inching their way to the top because it is really true that their ratings has escalated tremendously. Or maybe these people concludes GMA is claiming they’re no.1 coz there were some shows wherein no.1 sila like Eat Bulaga, SIS, Click, etc. ABSCBN’s followers were just over reacting to that news, meron nga tayong kasabihan, “ang balita, kung di kulang, nadagdagan o sobra pa”.

My opinion about imitating each others shows, its very clear that somehow it is true and I think it is an unavoidable thing in a competition. To site a few Maalalaa mo kaya is just same like Lovingly yours Helen before in channel 2, Eat Bulaga, although its not GMAs production, ABSCBN just junk the latter to compete or totally imitate it, Wish ko lang was also shamelessly imitated by its counterpart Willingly yours, Etc also made the same format as that of Extra extra which is somewhat imitated from Balitang K, which I think that’s beyond the point since Balitang K was a loser in ratings game so ABSCBN gamble their programs to early editions of their public affairs shows during late night, but it was not a successful experiment, so they came up with ETC. which I don’t know where it is now? In fairness to ABSCBN, GMA moved its anime shows from primetime to answer those ABSCBN soap operas which ABSCBN still dominates but not a big margin now.

and here comes gma7... their allies in the tabloids said that mg has no moral values! and now they are eating their own words... ayun nagkumahog silang kumuha ng... not 1... not 2... but THREE chinovelas!!! if mg is "violent" then my mvp valentine is more violent!!! i know u know that!
i think u really need a lot of infos! ang willingly yours eh matagal nang balak ng abs-cbn... eh narinig ng mga taga-GMA7 na meron ngang balak ang abs na ganun... kya eto... nagpabrainstorm agad sila... and they came up with Wish ko Lang... and they deliberately aired it a few weeks before the initial broadcast of W.Y. para msabi n una sila!!! un ang totoo... i hope u cud accept that...
ABS-CBN teleseryes still dominates the primetime spot!!! with a HUGE margin!!! yeah its not just big... its HUGE! ENORMOUS! and what about that game show that gma7 launched??? where is it now??? the one with michael v.???
"Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay" did considerably better than "Habang Kapiling Ka," with an audience share of 55 percent versus the latter's 28 percent.
ABS-CBN's latest dramedy (mix of drama and comedy), "Basta't Kasama Kita," which stars Judy Ann Santos and Robin Padilla, had a 60-percent audience share. Its counterpart on GMA 7, "Ang Iibigin ay Ikaw Pa Rin," had a 27-percent share.
"Darating ang Umaga" continued to reign in its time slot with a 53-percent audience share, while "Sana ay Ikaw na Nga" had 32 percent.
"Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas" had a 50-percent audience share, edging out "Kung Mawawala Ka" with 32 percent.
ABS-CBN's "TV Patrol" had a 63-percent audience share on May 27. The Mel Tiangco-anchored "Frontpage" had less than half at 31 percent.
The Kris Aquino game show "Game Ka Na Ba," was in a league of its own, cornering 52 percent of Mega Manila viewers on May 27.


My views about the news and public affairs shows of both stations is that, ABSCBN cannot just come up with their own innovations in news broadcasting, they also shamelessly imitate GMA 7, for example, late night news used to be in English with The world tonight, and GMA network news, although ABSCBN dominates this slot, I cannot understand why when GMA changes it news into tagalog, ABSCBN did too with Pulso balita, when the anchors of GMA news started this stand out newscating with video background, ABSCBN did it also, its very obvious, here’s another one, when GMA launch Frontpage, they make this Headlines, hello? Where’s the originality? And when GMA started this solo newscasting, ABSCBN did it also, when GMA’s Newscating was made half an hour or an hour , the rival follows it also, isn’t it that its too vulgar for ABSCBN to do all those things, although okay its acceptable since this is a competition, but I think it is over really enough.

ABS-CBN has its TFC... and its news bureaus in North America and Middle East!!! that's what u call innovation!!! did gma7 sent its news people to Iraq during the war??? nope!!! abs-cbn did!!! ang 7 ay naging mere spectators sa event na un!!! kmuha lng sila ng feed sa cnn!!! wla kc silang mgwa!!!
have u seen the latest set of frontpage??? its a complete replica of tv patrol's!!! and how about their kuwentong kuwela??? a photocopy of balitang cute??? with all the rhymes and trimmings??? their starwatch??? copy of star patrol??? thier action force??? copy of police patrol???
and another thing... when i watch saksi b4 going to sleep... i become afraid i cud have nytmares because of mike enriquez... hehe...
and what about gma7's 53rd anniv??? i just can't understand why they are having a bigger celebration that they should've done 3 yrs ago.
