Studio 23 presents new series, Ang Boyfriend Ko!

STUDIO 23, in cooperation with Ideal Minds Corporation, brings yet another unique but hilarious comedy treat to the small screen when it presents Ang Boyfriend Ko, airing every Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

A hybrid of the sitcom and reality genres and described by its producers as "a romantic comedy of errors," Ang Boyfriend Ko invites viewers to make their acquaintance with Marvel Julian, first seen by viewers in the dating show Single.

While he and his barkada play themselves, all the other characters-the girlfriends in particular-are fictional. The series will revolve around the concept of Marvel trying to juggle three relationships at the same time without getting busted. His friends are there to either laugh at him or help him out.

Topics will range from PDA to PMS, from meeting the parents to coping with men's vulgarities, from jealousy to love.

Marvel will be joined by "girlfriends" Ira Eigenmann as Anna, the sweet college "kikay"; Mika Callanta as J, the eccentric college girl; and Michelle Cuneta as Tanya, the career-oriented account executive.

The show will not be complete without Marvel's peculiar buddies: Bidz de la Cruz plays himself, Marvel's real life outrageous outfit-wearing buddy, while Reena David is cast as the loud mouthed Jenny.

Ang Boyfriend Ko will not be complete without the great creative input of Ideal Minds Corp, which produces reality TV shows like Single, The Misadventures of Maverick and Ariel, as well as On-air and Campus TV.

Peppered with both scripted and spontaneous elements in every episode, Ang Boyfriend Ko veers away from the "usual" reality TV fare as viewers get to look into Marvel Julian's life as he leaves everyone wondering how he could possibly survive a relationship times three.
