Points in favour:

First of all, it goes without saying that WhoserCon has always been in TO, and has been more than successful there. Next, there's always Second City, which made for an awesome Saturday night during the last two Cons I attended. And Harbourfront on Canada Day is a fabulous experience, getting the opportunity to see live improv.

There's plenty of stuff to do there, without there being so much that we'd get distracted. In addition, I think more people would be able to travel to Toronto than if it were held elsewhere. And it doesn't hurt that Toronto worked well for the last 4 conventions.

Established presence/knowledge of setup for convention (residences, food, etc) in Toronto, cheaper canadian dollar means cheaper trip for americans.
