Michael was angry with Nikita's reaction and he did exactly what she asked him to: he left.

I hope that if he thinks about everything that happened he will realize that she was trying to push him away because of something and not just because she doesn't love him.

Nikita was driven by her fear and she tried to protect Michael by saying that she doesn't care for him.

But if they are close, then they are both in danger and she should know that by staying together they would be stronger.

I am sitting on the edge of my seat again!
