他來到了北平。
這裡什麼都比鄉間豐富，周圍都是聞所未聞，見所未見的事物。
他沒什麼專長，於是就拉起車來。他結實、勤儉、好強，他看得起自己。
他跟自己說，除非不當，否則就要當一個最好的車夫。他的理想是：他要買一輛屬於自己的車。
但現實與命運卻把他折磨淨盡了。他埋起他自己來。
現在的他是北京城內一個最卑劣的流氓，以往他所不恥的事情，如今全做了。偷詐拐騙也好，吃裡扒外也好，賣友求榮也好，只要有利可圖，只要能供他享樂就行了。
他真真的成了一個社會病胎裡的產兒，享樂主義的未路鬼了！
但這是他的錯嗎？
