八歲時，媽媽問我：「長大了你要做甚麼？」
我說：「不知道！」

中一時，老師問我：「將來你要做甚麼？」
我說：「警察！」
他再問：「為甚麼？」
我說：「好像很刺激，挺好玩的！」

畢業後，自己問自己：「你要做甚麼？」
「作家！」
「為甚麼？」
「沒為甚麼。或許是因為愛上了粒粒精緻多變的方塊字和享受與另一頭那些感同身受者遙遙相生的觸緒吧。」
