I'm not trying to burst your bubble Ericc, but it's an illusion to think that DVD based systems are faster. The DVD only allows more data to be stored (like all of Europe on one DVD) but the computing power of the installed system is the key factor. The most recent Carminat is actually not that bad. I've been using it for some time in a Laguna lately and it has much improved over the earlier (Philips Carmin) systems. Just my 0,02 €.
