You can not add a regular amplifier because it doesn't have line outs, but Sony makes an adaptor/booster that brings the power up to the Cabasse level, "4x40". Renault sells it as an accesory. It's easy too install, just plug in and go, so a great way to upgrade a stock radio.

It gives it the same power as high output radio's of aftermarket brands.
