Subject: does he like me or not?

Hey there's this guy who im really close with (and have a crush on), and i can't tell whether he likes me or not. He flirts with me all the time, and when me, him, and a bunch of other people went to see a movie he sat beside me, snuggled and held my hand. but the thing is when one of my friends asked him if he liked me he said no and changed the subject. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?!?!? im getting really frustrated because i like him so much. do u think he likes me?? im willing to take it to the next step, but maybe he's just a slow mover. i dont know, what do you think?
