Subject: Volume Locked Hot Sync message

I have a Palm IIIx (Palm OS 3.0.2) and a PowerMac G4 (Palm Desktop 4.1.) I recently upgraded my Mac to OS X 10.2.x. After much fiddling, I got the Mac and the Keyspan PDA adapter to see each other again.

During HotSync, I receive a Volume Locked message twice during the To Do List synchronization.

HotSync Manager then proceeds to sync other items. During Date Book synchronization, I receive an "The Application Conduit Manager has unexpectedly quit." message. The HotSync then fails totally.

I've tried changing Ownership & Permission on the User Data and User Data Archive files so that they both have Read & Write permission for both group and other.

Any suggestions on how to fix this are appreciated.

Thanks!
