Date Posted: 05:07:16 02/27/04 Fri My m515 (out-of-waranty) has recently stopped recognizing my expansion cards. I have 2 of them: 1. Panasonic SD 64MB 2. Palm Bluetooth SDIO card Before the failure, insertion of either card would powerup the m515 and no 1 would automatically switch to the Card menu. Now, insertion of either card has no effect whatsoever. Running card info on either card shows 'unknown'. I insert/remove cards quite frequently so I would say that the expansion slot is subjected to quite heavy useage. I'm suspecting the motherboard-mounted SD card connector. Is there anywhere (preferably UK-based) where I could purchase a connector? I feel confident about desoldering/resoldering etc. Alternatively, maybe I'm missing a trick with software installation problem etc. Regards, Nigel [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
