My Zire is fully charged, I left it on the charger for 8 hours to be sure. Fortunately I have everything backed up on my PC, and 'should' be able to Hot Sync the information to a new unit.
Since my warranty has expired, I'll probably buy one this weekend. At least the price has dropped about 40% since I made my first purchase. LOL
I'll check out getting my old one repaired.
Michael, thank you for the advice.

>>>>>>>>>>>If you’re sure the unit is/was charged fully and have performed all possible resets and the unit is not responding, then it may actually be dead and need to be replaced.

If so, then the data stored on your PC from the last hot sync can be hotsynced into a new unit. You'll need to be sure and give the new unit the same Hot Sync ID as the old unit.

If you are looking to possibly save some money, you may be able to have the unit repaired. Depending on where you are located, there are several companies that will do this. There is a list of those compaines at the top of the message board home page.

I hope this helps.
Michael
