I'm not sure whether we're on the same page, though. Our problem is about application, not data file. See, Zire71 is pre-installed with "AddressBook" and "DateBook" whereas Tungsten E is equipped with newer software called "Contacts" and "Calendar." We like the latters better, so my wife wanted to upgrade her organizer applications. She has her data files synchronized between desktop and palm, all she needs I guess is to install the newer apps.
