I reinstalled Win98 from my own cabs files (don't have the CD)over the old one, which had crashed. I didn't format the drive. I did uninstall the Palm program once it didn't work and reinstalled it again. I was thinking of conflicts too, but I don't know what. I tried to install a new version of Norton Antivirus today BEFORE the Palm desktop. The old version wouldn't work after the crash and it was time to upgrade anyway. I got several error messages and followed the instructions to fix them (which could be the conflict) and now I'm rebooting without those errors but getting an IPF in Module MSI.DLL @0167.01743ea8. I reinstalled MSI but can't resolve the problem, and am hoping that Symantic can in this lifetime! Maybe that's part of the Palm problem?
