I would like to start off by saying my sleep if they are one in the north is Mayfield. Why sleeper in the south is Hudson or Kent.
Now on to the predictions. In the North.
1.) Solon- With Scott Greenberg gone yes they do lose a lot. But, Sean Miller is an amazing running back who you can expect to put up huge numbers. Solon's O-line is always better then average and their d-line with Phill Hallman will be phenomenal. Tim Echan will anchor the Linebacking core. Their big game to decide the conference in my mind is Mayfield.
2.) Mayfield- With pretty much the same team returning as last year how can they not be up at the top. With the exception to Walsh they have a pretty easy non conference schedule. They should win 7 games minimal. QB Bryan Nally is back that is a big addition for them. And with Breeden and Delguyd both ways Mayfield has a lot of talent.
3.)Brush- Roy Hall. Nuff said right. He may be the best athlete in the entire WRC in football and basketball. Brush could pull some upsets this year. I don't know how many but they could give Mayfield and Solon a scare with some luck.
4.)Nordonia- Rob Sims is the best lineman in the conference hands down. Word is he is being looked at by Notre Dame. That's an accomplishment in its self. With Orzag gone they great passing attack is no longer there. They will have trouble scoring points. They could be better or worse but I am saying 500 right now.
5.)Kenston- Kenston does not really have any star players. Their Soph. class this year is supposed to really step up. I can't see them beating the Solon's of the world though for the life of me.
6.)Twinsburg- No Mike Smith = no wins. I can't see this team winning more then 2 games this year sorry guys.

SOUTH
1.)Cuyahoga Falls- This team's strength will be their offensive line lead by Clegg. Their QB is returning and they have some people back on defense their big problem though will be scoring. Tommy Froelich is no Scott Froelich. And they lost their FB,wr's. Their TE Scott is a gem and should be all conference. But I can't see this team being a highscoring team. They dont have the South locked up by any means. They have a tough schedule early their big test will be Jackson, and Solon. If they hang with them they can hang with anyone. If Falls can score they will repeat if not it will be another team.
2.)Hudson- Hudson keeps bragging about how good this year's senior and class and junior class are better then others in the past. We will see how good they really are if they are this year. Hudson has not made the playoffs since 96 when they were in the suburban league. They are led on offense by Matt Carducci who had an ok year but is expected to be an asset this year. They lost their QB in Diebold but JR Toney Morton is supposed to be as good. Their WR's are Knepp and Buck who can really fly. On defense they have a great D-line with 4 people who started but could not play last year due to injury. If they stay healthy it will be the best d-line in the south. LB core is small and quick led by SR Ian Kost. And their DB's are solid with Matt Knepp back their. Hudson has a weak schedule this year and should win at least 7. I am not saying they will the south i really think falls is better coached. But I wouldn't be suprised at all if they did.
3.)Stow- Stow,Hudson,Falls are the top 3 teams going for the south. With Kent kind of behind them. Stow's Offense graduated last year. With FB Jonah Gregg, HB Jamoni Robinson, TE Walko, OL Ardo, and the WR core. They have Mike Cutlip and Mike Ruhlin to fill the backfield but they are not expected to set the world on fire. Their O-line has center Adam Latera and tackle Eric Ardo back that is a big help. Stow's QB will be Joe Walko who is unproven but has a good arm. Their D-line is not very strong, their LB core is average. The CB are so so but Shane Brandy is a hitter at safety and should be all conference again. They have to at least beat Hudson or Falls to prove themselves this year.
4.)Kent- Marcus Parham and Brett Rodgers are amazing on both sides of the ball. Too bad the rest of Kent is horrid. They did get a new big man. A 6'8 giant from down south who was on the basketball team. If he can play they may have a line. They will give Falls,Stow and Hudson trouble this year in the south if they can keep games close into the second half.
5.)Barberton- This team had the most unbearable season of any team last year. The death of talented LB Josh Miller was really a lose for the entire league not just Barberton.Darren Harris was an amazing RB but with him gone Antonio Pittman must fill the void. Barberton's Defense is not very good and even though they have players returning i dont see them stopping really anyone. They will win 5 tops.
6.)Ravenna- Andrew Dukes will lead this team. How far I can't really say. They dont have anything returing up front and they will be a young team. At least they will be better then Twinsburg.
