Hello - Plymouth subject again...

We are also having a nightmare trying to sort trains out but I have just come across two phone numbers on www.thetrainline.com that I will be calling tomorrow to see if we can get any further. (Not operated Sunday nights -typical!)

Anyway the numbers are 08700 104490 which quoted me single fares to Plymouth for £1.20 (and same back totalling £2.40 return???) for 8 or more people. Somehow I think that may be a miscalculation but I also got quoted £15 each way which would mean £30 in total (Giving Carol Vorderman a run for her money me!!!) That was when I put for one person travelling rather than a group.

The other number I found was for "Virgin Groupies" which is for groups of 10 or more to get 25% discount (shame there's only nine of our lot!) That number is 08457 222333.

Hope this is of some use Mike, I will let you know how I get on chasing it all up tomorrow night. Otherwise see you on the side of the road hitch-hiking, some foreign lorry driver might take us all in the back of his truck! (Seems like the most likely option at the minute doesn't it!?!)
