Hi

I'm researching my Grandfather's football career and wondered if you could help.

His name was Joe Beresford and he joined Mansfield Town in the mid twenties where he played (as inside right) until signing for Aston Villa in 1927. He then joined Preston in 1935 and was also an England international. I don't know if you have access to any Mansfield Town history books but any information, stats, appearances, goals etc would be very helpful.
