I was at the quarry around noon and had a good look at the scoter while it was still active and it was a White-winged Scoter. By the time I left it had tucked it's head and concealed it's white wing patch.

Yesterday at Hidden Harbor there were 3 Grebes that I thought were Horned Grebes but without my scope was unable to positively ID. One reason I hesitate is because they appeared to be larger than the Horned. Also present were Ruddy Ducks and Bufflehead. This morning I didn't see any of them.

Today at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Maumee there were a few Pine Siskins and Red-breasted Nuthatches mixed in with a flock of Goldfinches.
