Subject: Brewster's at Irwin

Spotted a Brewster's Warbler at Irwin Prairie tonight around 7:30pm. The bird is located on the northern half of the trail, just before you enter the dense canopy of trees. He was heard 3 out of 3 times there this week, but this if the first night he allowed a good look. Tonight his song was very typical of a Blue-winged, although it seems to vary from day to day.

Other good birds seen and heard this week include Willow Flycatcher, Blue-winged Warbler (or additional Brewster's?) Yellow-billed Cuckoo and Yellow-breasted Chat.

Also, some Woodcock are still active at dusk.
