Subject: Magee Bird Trail on Monday 5/28

The Bird Trail on Monday 5/28 was very good for so late in migration. Nineteen warbler species including 2 Connecticut Warblers and possibly a third, 6 or 7 Mourning Warblers and dominated by good numbers of Redstarts, Canadas and Wilsons.
There were many flycatchers including several Yellow Bellied and one Olive Sided.
A good number of Swainson Thrushes with 2 Gray Cheeked and 1 Veery.
And a young Screech Owl was peering out of it's wood duck nest box.
And it didn't rain!!
