Subject: Sager Rd.

I was out with Mike Osborn on Sager, Wilkins and Girdham Rd's We first spotted the Eastern Meadowlarks in the pasture opposite the airport on Wilkins. We searched for the Henslows, but no luck. About a quarter mile down Sager heading west, we spotted 2 Orchard Orioles as well as 2 Brown thrashers. It appears that the fruit on the trees is ripe and many birds are gathering to feed in these spots.
We also saw,
Hairy Woodpecker
Flicker
Cedar Waxwings
Red Tailed Hawk
Wild Turkey
Black Capped Chickadee
Field Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
Indigo Bunting
Eastern Kingbird
and all the other ubiquitous eastern bluebirds, cowbirds, catbirds, goldfinches et al...
There were a few other species that Mike and I had yet to identify, but were new to both of us.
Where has the Henslows sparrow been seen on Sager?
